I just spent a few days at 4th Street Recording in Santa Monica, CA recording piano and drums for my debut album, produced by Jim Wirt! And I thought I'd give you a glimpse of the studio and give you a bit of history: Andrew McMahon and Jim Wirt recorded the first Jack's Mannequin album, Everything In Transit, in this exact studio, and Andrew recorded all the piano, including "I'm Ready", on the same piano I'm playing right now!
